A lovely UHNW family who treat their staff exceptionally well are looking to appoint a temporary well-presented Assistant Housekeeper to join their well-established team. It is essential that this candidate is enthusiastic, happy to learn and follow instruction, but able to learn quickly and work efficiently and get on well as part of a team. It is important the candidate would be happy to work weekends.
Front of House staff member required to work in a private house over the CarFest period - 21st to 26th August 2025. Assisting with serving food and drink, serving of snacks etc, looking after the guests. The guests will be out from the house during the day, but will be there in the evening. They have a housekeeping team who will be there, but you will be required to assist them. They also have a chef, who you would be required to assist. Accommodation provided. A cook is required for a beautiful rural Estate in Dumfries and Galloway. Accommodation available, pets considered. The role is to cook family meals (core family of 4, plus guests), dinner party food as well as preparing food (cakes etc) for a small tea-room as they open the gardens to the public during the summer. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the main household, liaising directly with the family. Lovely, modern style food and a keen baker that loves making beautiful well presented cakes is preferred.
A capable chef is required for a dinner party on 16th August in a private house at HP14 3 - the chef will be required to do canapés, starters, mains, and pudding for 14 people. They would like a seasonal style menu and to pay a rate per head. They would also like the cook to come with someone to serve and clear.
A cook is required for a large family gathering - 9 adults and 7 children (age 3-9 years). They would like breakfast, picnic style lunches, children's tea (simple) and adult dinner- canapes/nibbles, main and pudding. The cook will be responsible for the shopping, cooking, laying and clearing tables, keeping kitchen clean and organised and washing up. The family will also help. The cook must be used to cooking for large gatherings and must enjoy working around young children.
